Phil is a graduate of Northwest Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Brenda came to minister with us and we have seen God's hand of blessing on Pastor Phil's ministry. We pray that God will continue to direct our pastor as we grow into the church and the people God wants us to be.

Personal Testimony:

I was brought up in a pastor's home and always assumed that I would one day go to Heaven.  After all, I was in church every time the church doors were opened and I knew all kinds of verses and songs and Bible stories.  One day we had a special speaker in church who told of how the Bible says that we are all sinners and worthy of death.  Individually we needed to trust in Christ to save us from that terrible penalty and allow us entrance into God's Holy dwelling -- Heaven.

I went forward that evening and was shown from the scriptures my need for salvation.  I was shown that Jesus is the only one who could pay the terrible price that sin demanded.  I was told how Jesus came from Heaven to become a man so that He could die for each one of us.  I trusted in Jesus that day, and while I am not perfect, I can see His hand upon my life.

Favorite Bible Verse:  2 Corinthians 5:17  "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Favorite Books of the Bible:  Ruth & Esther:  God is looking for ordinary people to do extraordinary things!

Hobbies:  Golf, Mariners Baseball, reading, and playing with my girls!
